RSUK already has one large workshop and office suite, used for assembly, servicing and major repairs. Equipment available ranges from the basic engineering tools to state of the art transponder test equipment, rotor and propeller balance equipment, and gauge calibration equipment.

The Company employs a range of local people from Engineers to Book keepers, and has trained service engineers based across the UK – as well as it’s own in house mobile service engineer. Our aircraft are well cared for, and we aim to supply spares within 48hrs.
RotorSport UK Ltd is the first UK company approved by the CAA to A1 standard for design, flight test and production of gyroplanes.
Its partnership with AutoGyro Gmbh, has brought over 90 UK versions of the excellent MTseries aircraft and 18 of the superb Calidus to the UK market, compliant with all requirements of the gyroplane airworthiness code, BCAR Section T
RotorSport UK is more than just a dealer and service organisation. We are a key development partner for AutoGyro Gmbh, carrying out design, testing and evaluation work on their product range. We also supply components to the AutoGyro factory for their production aircraft.
RotorSport UK Ltd is a family owned business started in 2005, and focused entirely on Gyroplanes. At that time Gerry Speich was the Chairman of the British Rotorcraft Association, and was driven to find a solution to the complete lack of factory built gyroplanes in the UK, and and of any real progress in that industry. Steve Boxall and Kevin Robinson, now both instructors on MT’s, saw the first MT’s early in 2005, and encouraged Gerry to discuss the possibilities with the manufacturers AutoGyro in Germany. The first meeting between Otmar Birkner of AutoGyro and Gerry Speich of RotorSport UK Ltd took place in October 2005. Both men saw the potential in the product that could be achieved by joining forces, and an agreement was made. The rest is history! Well over 1000 Autogyro aircraft are now in service worldwide.
Having started as a cottage industry, RotorSport UK moved from Warwick to Shropshire at the start of 2007, and is now located at the foot of the Long Mynd Hills. Our location is around 2km down the hill from the Midland Gliding Club and the large paragliding site situated beside the gliding club.
